Hmmm with twi having every spell in the game her magic power would be close or around the same general area as some of my fav mages [From a Certain Game]

Alright, I'm done! Here's my character sheet.

DM: Alright, now we can- wait a second. It says here that you know every spell in the game.

Yep, that's right. That isn't a problem, is it?

DM: Yeah it's a problem! You're only level 1! Even if I let you have all these spells, which I'm not, you can't even cast most of them.

Oh, but I can. You see, the rules say I can give myself additional power by giving my character personal flaws.

DM: Oh, this should be good. Tell me, what flaw have you come up with that would balance out your character?

You see, my character can only use her full power when she is within 30 yards of her six comrades. When they're apart, she can only use level 1 spells.

DM: Not bad, but it's still OP.

Then what would you do to make her balanced?

DM: Hmmm.... I got it! When under stress, your character temporarily goes insane.

What!?

DM: Don't worry, it won't happen in battle. Just in social situations. Every time you encounter one, you'll have to do a save check to prevent yourself from doing anything crazy.
